An art place is any venue where you can experience the visual, performing, or literary arts.

Pittsburgh Art Places is a project of Shiftworks Community + Public Arts. Pittsburgh Art Places is the first and leading comprehensive resource for finding and connecting with public art and arts venues in the Greater Pittsburgh region.

In addition to museums, theaters, and galleries, this site will help you find places like a bar or coffee shop with music or open mic nights, a bookstore with a reading series, and a sculpture installation at the airport. Each profile for a work of public art and arts venue includes additional in-depth information, including location and web links.

The tour section of the website introduces visitors to a variety of self-guided tours designed and posted by the public. Share your art places by creating a user profile and creating tours of your own favorites.
